Unlike some other PC optimization programs, there is no large scan button. However, the user interface is slightly different from that of other similar programs. It also looks very modern and comfortable. That caveat aside, this is a superb PC optimization toolkit, and well worth your consideration if you're looking for a way to keep Windows running smoothly. Overview of Ashampoo WinOptimizer: User Interface It has a very simple looking user interface. Unless you want to remove the entry for a specific third-party program you’ve installed (like the option to scan a file with your antivirus software), it’s best left alone. Ashampoo WinOptimizer Free performs similar duties to IObit Advanced SystemCare Free but includes more functions in its interface instead of requiring you to download other software. Looking beyond the basics, you'll find a raft of well designed extras to improve the performance of your PC and make it work in a way that suits you.Ī few of the features aren't as beginner-friendly as they could be – for example, the context menu editor sounds like a great idea, enabling you to customize the options presented when you right-click in any program, but the reality is a confusing list of link types and descriptions. Telemetry reports aren’t innately bad, and are customizable within Windows (opens in new tab), so it would be nice to see this better represented.
